I love having this as an anchor to my practice. No matter what else is going on, every Monday morning I join 100s of others across the world to draw each others’ faces.

Thoughts from the studio:
What happens to our perceptions when we look at art….

- how relevant are our immediate surroundings when viewing art?

- do we think differently? More slowly, more quickly, or sideways perhaps?

- can an artwork hold

I am currently reading THE VAST EXTENT by @laviniagreenlaw - which I can’t recommend highly enough!

She speaks about a cave and I can’t help but draw so many parallels with art, and because of this I am going to (mis)quote…
