Drawing Big, Feeling Bigger

On a practical level? We took a tired white wall and turned it into a joyful, welcoming beacon on the high street - alive with pears, blossoms, pomegranates, and even an artichoke, all painted with loose, sketchy lines and a fresh, seasonal feel. Every shape was drawn first by hand on A4 paper, then scaled up, keeping the energy of the original marks intact.

And inside? A little surprise: a painted bike greets you on the staircase - a quiet nod to a moment I captured on holiday in France, where I fell in love with the gentle, unhurried magic of a simpler pace of life. The rest of the staircase mural is made up of different icons, big and small, playing with scale and all adding to the creative feel of the space. If you like great coffee, delicious food, and a nourishing space, you should definitely head over to Ete.

When Lizzie from Studio Eww got in touch to ask if I’d collaborate on the brand and murals for Ete, a new slow-living café in Westbourne, it was a full body yes.

Two of my deepest values are creativity and connection - and this project was steeped in both. Eté is all about nourishment, seasonality, and slowing down to notice the beauty in the everyday. That’s exactly how I approach my work: celebrating hand-drawn, imperfect marks and letting creativity unfold naturally.

It began with the logo design, playing with loose, wobbly lines and textures that felt alive and human. From there, the vision grew!

More Than Just Paint

For me, murals are about much more than paint on a wall. They’re about atmosphere, story, and bringing a brand’s soul to life in a way you can feel the moment you step inside.

I love collaborating with thoughtful business owners who care about creativity, beauty, and connection as much as I do - and who want something that feels warm, human, and completely unique to them.

If you’re dreaming of a mural or brand collaboration that tells your story - imperfect, beautiful, and alive - I’d love to hear from you.
